So, Sara made a whoopsy last week and ended up going into Primark, and spent into 3 digits on a 'I'm so pissed off with my job' shopping rage. It wasn't big, it wasn't clever and I am most definitely paying for it now, but I picked up far too many beauties for me to feel that bad about it, including these 2 mini handbags, whose design I loved so much I bought them in both colours...woops.
I really wanted the green Zara Mini Shopper bag that came out this summer but never had the chance to even see one in person by the time they had sold out in stores and online, so I decided it was never to be. These Primark ones aren't exact carbon copies design wise, but the shape is pretty spot on.
They come with a little buckled pocket at the front, which has been quite handy for stuffing a few business cards in when I've taken them out to events, both with work and for the blog, as it keeps them from getting all dented and the like. There's also enough room for a trusty pack o' Tic-Tacs or some gum, which stops them forever getting lost at the bottom of you bag. This little pocket isn't the most secure of things though, so I wouldn't advise you leave your valuables in it, you're just asking to be pick pocketed.
Inside there's just enough room for me to find an iPad in and be able to zip it up, but it's a pretty tight squeeze. They come lined with the same basic Primark matching cotton, so nothing too fancy, along with a phone pouch and small zipped pocket. The think I love most though is that they can we worn either in the crook of the arm, or over the shoulder. I've chosen to leave the straps at their shortest so that the nestle nicely under my arm, but they're pretty long and can be adjusted so that the bag sits slightly below the hip.
Primark has some proper gems in stock at the minute, I'm actually loving every single thing that I bought, which is quite unusual for me as I nearly always get buyers remorse. These were just £8 each which I think was a bargain, as they're really quite sturdy, especially for something from Primark! The brown one is definitely my favourite, although the black one has it's charms, especially for work.
I'm one of the official bloggers for Style Birmingham Live this weekend which is really exciting, and I've picked up a really amazing dress for the event that I'll try to share next week. I'd like to start doing more outfit of the day posts as it would appear I am finally becoming more stylish but trying to get someone to take some photos is a nightmare! It might have to be a tripod + remote job from now on.
Have you found any amazing-ness in Primark lately? Do you like these bags? Let me know what you think!
